β€œEvery man is a divinity in disguise, a god playing the fool.”

β€” Ralph Waldo Emerson

Everyone has a purpose. People can spend a countless time wondering where they stand. Most people seek it, others continue to remain lost. Life is short, and we should all strive to be the best version of ourselves during this time.

One thing that could stunt the act of figuring yourself out is being sensitive to what others think. If you are moved by another man’s opinion, you should study yourself. Never make your identity fragile because the world will prey on the weak. What another person thinks shouldn’t easily move you.

No one can say they know you best when you know yourself.

GET IN TUNE WITH YOURSELF

One thing that isn’t stressed enough is making time for yourself. Self-care is the best care always. This goes for both physical and mental health. Monitor your health. Don’t be afraid to speak to a doctor in regards of your health. That’s what they’re there for.Β  Make time so you can get some understanding about yourself. Fear what you don’t know.

Find out what makes you whole. There’s nothing wrong with picking yourself apart, just as long as bring it all back together. Seek to find yourself. Be the master of your energy. Every one goes through conflict with self. We hold on to bad habits, we sometimes Β do things that we said we won’t ever do. These are human like traits. One luxury we all don’t share is knowing who we are and where we stand in the life we live. Feeding an ego isn’t bettering yourself. Accumulation of success isn’t bettering yourself.

β€œThe people highest up got the lowest self-esteem ”

β€” Kanye West- All Falls Down (The College Dropout:2004)

Not trying to rub some loaner off on you, but learn to function alone.

Most people can’t even hear themselves think because of the company that they keep Don’t be afraid to spend some time alone. How can you know yourself when you don’t spend time with yourself?

When you learn yourself, you make better decisions and sustain self-control. You will be more aware of the decisions you make and the consequences you can face. It comes a time where you just get tired of the same, old thing. Some change has to come. You promised time after time that it will. Yet, it’s the same thing just a different day. That is when you reach your breaking point a strive for a difference. A better lifestyle, one that can be obtained through the study of self.

When I say study yourself, that means study your dreams as well.

A lot of people can’t find themselves or happiness because they base it off what they see. The “happiness that you see” isn’t always the happiness that can make you whole. You can scroll on social media and see successful people with lots of money and nice cars. Then you could think that’s what makes you happy. Searching for happiness in places other than inside. Real happiness comes from within.

FIND YOUR STRENGTHS IN YOUR WEAKNESSES.

Build at your lowest point.

This is something I had to learn during a time I didn’t want to do anything. It was a bad place in my life where it seemed as if nothing was going right. Down at my lowest point, I dreamed of a better me. The only problem was I didn’t know how to work to build towards a better me. A few weeks went by and I realized that no one would feel sorry for me if I continue this route.

Life goes on, and through hardships you must learn to adapt. This is when I lean to one of my favorite quotes by Robert Schuller,“tough times don’t last, tough people do.”

Find your peace during this journey and learn to regain whatever that was lost. Then gain some more and work towards a better you. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger if you can overcome it. Know yourself, be aware of your positioning in life.
